House Etiquette

La Joya Azul · House Etiquette

A guesthouse for men. A few things that make it work.

Wear less. Respect more.

Clothing is optional at the pool. Personal boundaries always apply. Swimwear welcome. A towel beneath you, please. Get dressed before entering the house.

Say hello. Give space.

Some guests come for company. Others come for quiet. Ask before making contact. Respect the answer.

Be here. Keep it private.

No photography around the pool. Elsewhere, ask before including another guest in your frame.

Lower the volume.

Quiet hours: 10pm–8am. Keep conversations low. Use headphones in shared spaces.

Leave room for the next person.

Take your things with you. Return what you borrow. Leave shared spaces ready for someone else.

Poolside drinks. Pool-safe cups.

Keep glass away from the water.

Your guests need an introduction.

Check with your host before inviting visitors into the house or pool.

Smoke in the right spot.

Use the designated outdoor area. Keep rooms and indoor spaces smoke-free.

Need something? Ask.

A fresh towel. A good address. Something fixed. We’re here.
